Hello, I have a maytag mdb4630aws2 dishwasher. The unit is brand new, when I plug it in the "normal" and "heated dry" buttons light up for ten seconds and then there is a click and the lights go off on the unit. Pressing buttons yields no response. Holding the cancel button for ten seconds yields no response. If I unplug the unit for a five minutes and start it up again I get the same two lights going on and then it shuts off.

How do you take apart a Maytag dishwasher?

The small holes on my Maytag dishwasher are clogged so the dishwasher isn't cleaning well. I tried removing what I could from the holes with tweezers; this helped but not enough. How do I remove the blades to completely clean the holes?

If you still have the owner's manual, it will state what the removal procedure is. However, in case you do not have it, or it doesn't say, buy a package of pipe cleaners. Gently poke each hole and remove the built up deposits. That should do it.
