I have an old coal stove with metal flue coming off that is corroded. I want to cut the flue away and keep stove for looks. How should I cap off flue (duct) that leads into and up to chimney?
They make caps for flues, both round and oval. Locally here we have Ace hardware that have catalogs of millions of items. If you don't have an Ace you may have a similar hardware store. You would do better in a local hardware store than a big box.
