Wow, what a neat experience. This is Kara (used to be Johnson), and I've been stalking your blog for a while now. My father-in-law is in the military and he was stationed in Turkey a couple years ago. One afternoon I received a HUGE box from the post man, turned out he surprised all the girls in the family with a rug from Turkey. Mine looks similar to the beige one hanging on the back wall in your pictures. Anyway, just thought I would say hello and that you inspire me. We live in San Antonio now, and have our first home. I love pouring over your projects and imagining how great my house would look if you were my decorator.
