I am having trouble with the quality of soldering bits, they are made to solder electrical joints but I have to make long runs of solder to join the glass sections of the 'Tiffany' style lamps I make, this is a hobby and cost is a major factor. Thanks

The problem that you are probably having is the fact that you might be using the wrong soldering iron for the job. It was the problem I had in the beginning. There are at least 12 different kinds of soldering irons that I know about but only one is meant
