Should I press my hair?
I'm African American and I've been natural (without straightening my hair with perm) for over two years now. I don't put heat in my hair except when I am deep conditioning it and I wear a heat cap. but I haven't directly put heat in my hair since I stopped
Putting heat in your hair is damaging but there are worsen things you can be doing with your hair like bleaching it as long as you deep condition your hair you should be fine.
