A garden hose of inner diameter 2.2 cm carries water at 2.5 m/s. The nozzle at the end has diameter 0.41 cm. How fast does the water move through the nozzle?

It moves at higher speed.

Flow of water = Area*Velocity

According to Newton Flow of water into the tube must equal flow of water out of the tube

So FL(in)=FL(out)

Area1*Velocity1=Area2*Velocity2
